...to Len Hewitt, who has (briefly) caught up to me in years. Len's in the UK, so he's probably just waking up now and looking forward to a lazy Sunday. Or I hope he is, anyway.

A lazy wet Sunday probably. This week our central heating came on. For what is supposed to be the height of summer, it's more like February.

It's the depths of winter here, but the daytime temperatures have been up in the mid-twenties. I'd normally be in long sleeves for most of the day, but it's definitely short-sleeve weather after around 9 a.m. Even at 7 a.m. it's 18ÂșC and I've just got a flannel shirt over my T-shirt.
