Hi,

As I'm very (VERY) new to desktop publishing and InDesign in particular, someone was kind enough to create a template for me. I'm using the templates to layout articles for a magazine.

The only problem is that I have used it to create about 6 different articles and they each have pagination. I need to strip these articles of the page numbers. How would I go about that?

Thanks!

Eric

I need to strip these articles of the page numbers. How would I go about that? For each of the Master pages used in each of the articles, you can remove the text box that contains the page numbers.

Note the position of the page numbers on the pages. It could be different for left and right pages.
In the Pages window, select the first Master used. Scroll to the position on the master where the page number appears on your pages, and with the selection tool, click on the character representing the page number. I've uploaded a screen shot from one of my publications so you can see what you're looking for.
Delete the text box, save the file, and go on to the next.
