I do not often trust do-it-yourself instructions that I find on the web, but this lesson in cat-bathing (http://womencentral.net/bathe-cat.html) seems flawless, so I thought I should pass it on.

ROFL 3 times!! Totally brilliant, Kathleen. The fact that this was your 666th posting made this devilish joke even better!

Robin xIt made me laugh too.

So — did you try it? <g> It has this almost plausible feel …

Hardly! I told it to my family: mother and 7-year-old were totally horrified, 15-year-old gothic girl thought it was sick and didn't see the joke, and 18-year-old fell about laughing like I did!

It's the opening instruction that really sets the scene, and comes right out of the blue (or right out of the loo!)

It seems to me that this method would work ("plausible"), but I am not sure how the cat will relate to you afterwards.

I did have a friend whose landlady washed a white cat with Tide in her oid-fashioned laundry sink. The cat had been lost for weeks, and came back quite grey from sleeping under cars.

I just love that. :)

I'm just wondering how people we're sitting for will react to the method...

It seems to me that the last steps of this cat-bathing method would result in never seeing the cat again. Perhaps that is what The Dog wants.

I'm sure they'll just love the new three-fingered you.

You and Lady MacBeth ... lovely in red, the pair of you.

Very funny! I also liked all the toilet-related Google ads on the left!
