A friend sent me to an especially effective YouTube video: Women in Art (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUDIoN-_Hxs).

It shows slowly superimposing images of women’s faces — one by one, not all in a pile — as painted by mainly European artists over the centuries. A bit of a tour-de-force, and eerily beautiful, nicely accompanies by a Bach cello piece.

Definitely worth a few minutes of my time.

What a coincidence! Right before popping in here, I was watching the same movie. Except I arrived there by way of the FantaMorph software site.

Anyway, it is well worth a look. Maybe even two or three looks.

It was interesting to see the eyes change, and also how some of the eyes did not change. Also, three in a row with the same eyebrows. Fashions of the times, I guess.

I'll have to go take a look at it again as I didn't notice that...
