Those of you who enjoy display fonts, especially scripts, will love Canada Type (http://www.canadatype.com/fonts.php). It has revivals and brand new designs of all sorts, some of them just begging to be turned into a logo or label art.

This place has several well-done brush scripts, including Tiger Script (http://www.canadatype.com/showfont.php?id=35) (based on a Georg Trump design) and another named Bolero (http://www.canadatype.com/showfont.php?id=11) (after Ravel’s famous music).

There is also a complex script (system, they call it) called Treasury (http://www.canadatype.com/showfont.php?id=82). With it you can use plain script characters alone, in a shaded form, with swashes and curlicues, or against a panel of scrollwork.

Treasury (which has 23 component fonts) costs $100. Most of the others I noticed were from $18 to $20, and there are several packages of two to four fonts that come out to less.

Sold through MyFonts.com or (for a 10% discount) directly from Canada Type via PayPal.

Some of you (you know who you are!) will swoon over a few of these.

Yeah, I know who I am! <LOL>

Reasonable prices, and they've got some nice bundles, too.

I always say a girl can't ever have too many fonts ...

I love Quanta (http://www.canadatype.com/showfont.php?id=21) and Autobats (http://www.canadatype.com/showfont.php?id=55) (but I really want Bikebats! anyone?).

Reasonable prices, and they've got some nice bundles, too.Assuming the prices are in Canadian dollars they’re even more of a good deal in the States.

If you buy any of them, do report back. They look very well-made (and are well shown), but of course one needs to use them to know for sure.

I hadn’t noticed Quanta before — it is very tempting.
