Can anyone tell me what the Klein Tools logo font is?

Klein Tools (http://www.kleintools.com/)

Thanks!

Looks like Cooper Black.Thank you, Marlene!!! You were faster than Identifont. I should have recognized it, I know, but we just have never had any use for it here before and I'm not as fond of it as some of you are. <g>

By the way, I found a super source for logos:

Best Brands of the World (http://brandsoftheworld.com/search/)

By the way, I found a super source for logos:Nice collection. A lot of European (or so I assume) brands that I've never heard of, but lots of very familiar others, as well.

Of course there's always (goodness, they've been around a long time - 15 years, I think!) Ad-Art (http://www.ad-art.com/) by Innovative Clip Art. Bought a few things from them in their early days.

But it is far from comprehensive. For Australia, it seems to only have major companies, no sporting logos. and for Equestrian sport, it has the Portuguese Federation, but not the International Federation, which i based in Switzerland.

It's not great on equestrian stuff, but it does have the old FEI logo and the Rolex logo. :D ;)

Oh, I see it has the 2005 Kentucky Derby logo....

I instantly recognized it as Cooper Black. Although I have very rarely used that typeface (and not in the past 15 years or so), it was one of the first typefaces I used when I took a Typography class a mllion years ago. I used Cooper Black presstype for some project or other.

That logo source looks very bookmarkworthy!

Oh, I see it has the 2005 Kentucky Derby logo....Hmm, it didn't find the FEI one on +equest* +fed* for me. Maybe it needs them in the right order.

If it only has the old FEI logo, then it's nearly 12 months out of date.

I just searched on "FEI". <g> There are plenty of more recent logos - I'm sure the selection is quite dependent on demand and on contributor interest, equestrian items evidently being low on the interest gauge....

Hmm, how silly of me! http://desktoppublishingforum.com/bb/images/smilies/smile.gifWell, maybe just a little bit silly. :D But some sites won't let you search on something that short. Your DressageIT board, for example. Try searching on FEI over there. ;) It works here, though, so it must be a setting you can fiddle with. I remember getting quite frustrated when I was looking for a particular FEI thread over there and it kept refusing my search. Forgot to let you know about it till just now, though!

I've been caught out with short replies there myself.
